I've been going to this place since they opened (my son actually said his first word here). They recently started breakfast again and this sweet potato waffle was so good, I had to clap. Service was impeccable as well. Go for breakfast ASAP!

Tom’s Coney Island has a lot of potential, but our recent visit left us with mixed feelings. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, we waited around 30 minutes before anyone came to take our order. Unfortunately, it seemed the waitresses were more engaged in a personal conversation with a friend than attending to customers, which was disappointing and definitely impacted our overall experience. Hey friends! This review is about sustainability only. By 2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish. So as a waterfront business, I wonder how you could help customers create less trash when coming in for a beer or a bite. Clearly, based on the dish bins you have out, and the real reusable dishes within them, you have some sort of dish dishwashing infrastructure available in the house. 4 stars for the view, ambiance and reasonable prices. Food is 3 stars max with a menu which is basically A-Z in fried stuff with not a vegetable in sight. The burger is actually great if only they would include a tomato slice and raw onion. Buffalo chick quesadilla again would be decent if it had guac or some red peppers in it. Mozza sticks could not be helped, honestly, so avoid those.
