Kevin Le★★★★★We enjoyed a delicious dinner with live music at The Silk. The food is full of flavor and service was attentive. If you love spicy food, the firecracker cauliflower is a must try - bold, crispy and addictive. The herb-crusted lamb chops were incredibly tender, served over a silky parsnip puree that tied everything together beautifully. We're already excited to come back and explore their curry dishes next
Sudhindra Gopal★★★★The Silk delivers excellent Indian cuisine with creative fusion touches. Standouts: The Veg Keema Biryani (5/5) is exceptional—layered, flavorful, and a must-order. The Saffron Panna Cotta (5/5) is mind-blowing and a perfect finish. The Tofu Bao (4/5) is solid fusion, though the Pomegranate Mojito (3/5) skews too sweet, and the Mediterranean Flatbread (3.5/5) is thicker and soggier than ideal. Service is responsive and the ambience is warm. Note: There was a temporary AC outage that made the restaurant uncomfortably hot—while understandable, the staff could have mitigated with other alternati
Tathagata Dasgupta★★★★★We are foodies. The owner Gokul is very nice - helped us understand his vision. The server Joana was super helpful understanding the menu - great suggestions. The atmosphere is nice. Great to have this Indian place in Brookline. The area keeps adding new exciting places.
Heera Kamaraj★★★★★We came in for dinner on a Monday and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I haven’t found a go-to spot for Indian food but this place will definitely become one! Some of the best Indian food I’ve been able to find in the Boston area. The drinks were also delicious too. We ordered the gobi manchurian, paneer tikka, and the Malabar chicken. Portions were a good size so we were each able to take home leftovers. I’m already excited to go back and try other things on the menu. They also have live jazz on Mondays so we had an amazing meal with a show!
