We were visiting the city as tourists and honestly came to Tom’s Place just because my husband’s name is Tom 😄 Best random decision ever. The food was delicious, the prices were great, and the whole place is nice. Everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive. Special shoutout to Yana, she’s an absolute gem and made us feel so welcome. We enjoyed it so much that we even bought a T shirt before leaving. Definitely recommend 🙌🏻

An ICON in California! Been coming here my entire life. It's old and adorable!! Wet a hook in Rock Creek, have breakfast in the café, camp up in French Camp. Great place!

$23 for a pastrami sandwich, onion rings, and an iced tea is a lot of money. Abolish the federal reserve. The pastrami meat had decent flavor. However I would go elsewhere for this specialty sandwich. Decent amount of meat but I expected it to be overflowing. The onion rings stayed together nicely and were easy to eat and the iced tea was refreshing. I should have chose something they are more known for. I will be back to try other items and take advantage of any specials. They have a big and great menu. My instinct was to get a burger. And they have a giant breakfast burrito banner out fron

Good well put together old school diner style food made to order.Slightly more on the pricier side for a garden burger and coke though. The veggy burger was overloaded with the works and filled me up completely. I paid a little under $13 for the both of them and would have paid $18 if I would have gotten the combo of burger, side and drink! I could have sworn the prices were cheaper when I searched the online menu. If nothing else it was great they had vegetarian burgers, and the coke was old school of more syrup content then water.I can't explain but fast foods back in the day use to sell this
