I’ve lived in the greater Cincinnati area for over ten years and had never tried Gold Star. After a long work day where every other chili place was closed, I unfortunately decided to give it a try. 50 minutes of waiting later, my order was ready; or was it? The cashier took my card and swiped it like the 15 people before me only to tell me, “we’re cash only, no cards.” I offered another card to use as I’ve never had a card declined. Nope. Didn’t matter. This place was very busy, had looked like one cook! The electric in the area was all down accept here. I don't think they anticipated it being very busy. There was two waitresses and they worked their butts off. They did a great job and so did the cook.

Working from out of state. Server was nice and polite. The food on the other hand, is another story. These are not coney island and the hotdogs are miniature. Ended up have to eat 5 just not leave hungry. Visit a Leo's Coney island and you will see the difference. Better yet, visit Layfeyett or American coney island in Detroit.
