Finally made it in, been on my list for awhile. Chicken Tenders were good but not great, white gravy was bland but bonus for having it. Chicken wings were overcooked and dry but the sauce had good flavor. Best part of the meal was the Okra, hot, fresh and crispy, delicious. Atmosphere was OK but ruined by a bunch of noisy high school kids.

Every other chicken strip dish comes with a free dipping sauce, but Slims wants us to dip our chicken in maple syrup if you order the chicken and waffles. Syrup is not even an official dipping sauce. I had to pay 40 cents,not alot, but that is just stupid logic. Waffles were terrible, but chicken strips were pretty good.

Many months ago my friend took me here. I fell in love. Great food and really good prices. I took my wife here and we've been coming here at least once a week. We met Zaniyah day one and she was awesome. Every time we come in she is so kind. She is always smiling and would not only check up on us, but other customers which says alot. We love eating here. The thing to get is their Spicy Rub on the chicken, or the Lemon Pepper Rub. These two are phenomenal and make it go from a 10 to 12. My wife and I eat for $22 usually which is such a money saver. This is a great location if you're looking to grab some chicken tenders! If you've never been to a Slim Chickens, I'd recommend visiting this store. My wife and I have been to this Slim Chickens about 9 times now (since January 2026) and they are always consistent! Fantastic service, excellent food that is always fresh/hot and the restaurant is always kept clean. I'd like to give a shout out to Aalydia R, she is wonderful and always has a positive attitude.
