Every experience I’ve had here has been a different level of good and bad. The older gentleman up front is fairly nice to interact with, however whatever woman takes orders over the phone, could do better, I get the same thing every time (or try to at least) and I’m unsure why the last few times I get told we don’t do that or don’t have that or they just flat out make my order wrong and I don’t realize until I get home. For months I have b en asking local friends, colleagues and clients to eat at Joy’s Village - and everyone refused. All have horror stories that sound more like urban legends than the truth. So on a day. Needed to run a few quick errands in Delaware I dropped in solo. My go to for testing a new-to-me Asian Restaurant is General Tso’s chicken. I use that as a barometer for deciding to come back and try any house specialties. So I’m not an actual customer of joys village but I’m a doordash driver and go there often. The man at the front is the nicest and friendliest person I’ve ever met! I doordash at a lot of restaurants and a lot of places do have very nice employees but he is by far the friendliest.
