“I visited here for the first time ever and it was exceptional! Cutie little shop and the latte & matcha I got were great! I interacted with four staff members and all of them were personable and friendly! Felt very genuine! I will be returning for the drinks but the service is the real star!!”

Michael T★★★★★Incredible. Interior is nice and clean with lots of natural light coming in despite eastern-facing windows and doors. Pretty decent amount of seating and very comfortable despite how small the place is. Music is good, swings between lo-fi and chill and more upbeat pop. But most importantly the music is not too loud, so it’s perfect for either working or hanging out. Every person behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. Ordered a lavender latte and orange blossom matcha - both delicious, highly recommend.
Anna Black★★★★★I love it here! The care that is put into every detail of this place, menu, interior design, staffing, is incredible. The craft menu is always changing and is really special. The flavors are not too sweet or intense, just perfect. This is a coffee to be shared with friends or indulged in with a comfy seat and a good book!

Lizbeth Orozco★Huge letdown—where is the flavor? I was really excited to try this place, but both drinks were a massive disappointment. Matcha Drink: Tasted like straight water with a hint of green. No earthiness, no creaminess, just diluted sadness. Lavender Haze: Also completely watered down. I was expecting a nice floral note, but there was zero lavender flavor to be found. It feels like they are severely skimping on their ingredients or just drowning everything in ice/water. Definitely not worth the price.
Brian Erickson★★★★★This is my new favorite spot for coffee and meetings. The menu changes seasonally and there is always something new to try. I’ve had everything on the menu and the London Fog, Hemp Mocha, and drip coffee are my favorites. Some of the nicest people I’ve ever met work here. It’s always a joy to see them. I hope this café stays put for a long time.
Deegii Alt★$30 for three small drinks (all $8 something) for water sugar. I never leave reviews but this was the worst “matcha” I’ve ever had. Don’t waste your money here. We all got different flavors and they all tasted like sugar water (literally zero matcha taste) and they all tasted pretty much the same. Not to mention the smallest drinks were $8, extremely expensive for no reason.
Heather Newett★★★★I was heading home from Pilates and craving a Thump matcha, which is in the opposite direction of my place. Google-mapped “matcha” and Lavender Coffee Boutique popped up so I headed over. Parking was a little difficult (typical of Pearl St.). I ended up a 4 min walk away near Duffy Roll and headed over. Got inside and the vibe is reallllyyyy hipster with an air of pretentiousness (it is a “boutique” coffee shop on Pearl so that tracked). All of the booths face the counter, so it was kind of like everyone there working was staring at me and listening while I ordered. A little awkward but 🤷🏻♀️. Maybe seats about 10 individual people at tables for two, so if you’re meeting anyone I wouldn’t expect to fine great seating for more than 3 people. The staff was pretty helpful and super sweet. Ordering made me feel more comfortable. The pastries 🥐 looked great but I’m trying to be good with my diet so didn’t get one. I ended up ordering a matcha latte with almond milk (their almond mil
chris geezy★★★★★Ali was incredible! She went above and beyond to assist us. We ordered an iced matcha, and it was absolutely delightful. I also noticed they had a wide selection of homemade syrups, oatmeal, and some mouthwatering pastries. We’re definitely returning to Lavender Coffee Boutique not only for the coffee but also for Ali’s great service.
