I love musabi!!! It's so hard to find some places, when I saw on the menu at Obento I had to get it. This is a great little restaurant. I placed my order online, through the link on Google maps and they had my order ready in like 4 minutes. It's a clean cozy restaurant with quick service. Great for dine in or take out. Oh, the musabi was magnificent! So savory and filling. God, I love this stuff. Why can't every bistro, gas station or convenience store have musabi, like in Hawaii?

This place is great and you know what you're here for. TOFU POCKETS: These tofu pockets are amazing. They taste just like the ones I grew up eating but more. That sweet vinegar taste and perfectly cooked rice is done very well and the toppings are so good. I tried most of them and all of them were great. My favorites consisted of the spicy salmon, tuna, and mushroom. The bulgogi was just alright but I have a pretty stringent taste pallet, but it's good enough. I would definitely try this place.

Stopped by here for a to go lunch and wasn't disappointed. It was a decent size serving if food and I paid roughly $14 w/no tip. The food was pretty good though I wasn't a fan of the taste on the veggie spring roll. The beef was decent with more of a sweet flavor due to the teriyaki sauce as opposed to a savory flavor you mind find in Japan. I will go back again if I'm in the area at lunch time.
