If you ever find yourself in downtown Des Moines, do yourself a favor and stop into Daisy Chain Coffee. I was in town shooting photos for IHSRA Prom and staying at the Embassy Suites nearby, and this spot ended up being one of those unexpected highlights of the trip. Daisy Chain isn’t just a coffee shop… it feels intentional the second you walk in. You can tell it was built with people in mind, not just product. The space is clean, welcoming, and the kind of place you can sit down, open your laptop, and actually get in a creative flow. The coffee? So good. Like… not just “grab and go,” but “s

Fun little coffee shop, fantastic coffee, interesting owner sells honey from his own bees, beeswax candles ect. Interesting fella, very enjoyable to chat with. We shopped at Raygun which is attached? Fun items, mugs, t shirts, lots of politically incorrect, funny things. Great little area downtown Des Moines.

The coffee had a fruity and nutty taste that made my taste buds so happy. The pistachio and honey mix was the perfect combinat

I got an Americano, which was delicious. You can always tell the quality of the coffee shop by how good their espresso is. I also had the maple (something) scone, which was also delicious. It is a cozy place with a colectic decor. The barista was very personable and welcoming.
