I was in town with 4 friends for the Des Moines half marathon. I didn’t think to make a reservation weeks ahead and called them two days before we were going to be there. It was busy but they made room for us and thanked us for choosing them. The owner came over to our table and talked with us and gave us some samples of food and a little wine.
