Down Home Delivery: Seriously, You NEED to Try This Place! Down Home Delivery is our family's absolute favorite in Boston! The food is incredible – especially the wings, pork chops, and ribs. Everything tastes homemade and fresh, with amazing sides like mac & cheese and collard greens. The cornbread? Don't miss it! The owners are so kind; they even delivered our meal personally once. Down Home Delivery — NEVER AGAIN. Today was an absolute disaster. My husband picked up our order and was handed plates we never ordered, while the food we actually paid for sat in a warmer. Once we realized the mistake, I called to let them know. They told me he could simply come back and grab our food. I forgot to mention he was already out and about when he got the call that they gave us the wrong bag of food. I have gotten food for Down Home for years and always enjoyed it but, today I was really disappointed. I tasted my greens and all I could taste was salt. Maybe it was me, but the pork ribs could have been cooked a little more not falling off the bone but close.
