Kompas Taqueria was an absolute HOME RUN. First of all… the nachos were literally FAMILY SIZE. I’m not even exaggerating — the portion was massive, loaded, and every single bite was packed with flavor. Absolutely incredible—an absolute must try! We ordered the UT-Style Chimichurri, Kompas King, and Korean Steak tacos, along with Carne Asada Fries, a side of Esquites and a frozen horchata 🤤 Every single item was packed with flavor and seriously delicious. My husband and I came in for Taco Tuesday lunch and tried the Mahi-Mahi, Korean Beef, Al Pastor, and the OG tacos. I originally planned to try the Chicken Pastor, but after reading some reviews I switched to the Mahi-Mahi — and I wish I hadn’t. The fish taco was dry, lacked flavor, and definitely wasn’t worth it. The Al Pastor and Korean Beef were the clear winners — super tasty and well-seasoned. The corn tortillas tasted fresh, and the guacamole was good, just a bit heavy on the onion for our taste. Kompas Taqueria was a hit. I had the fried avocado tacos, and they were easily the best avocado tacos I’ve ever had. Everyone I was with ordered different tacos, and every single person loved what they got. Great flavor, great variety, and definitely a spot worth coming back to. Excellent, friendly service!
