Chris Hartung★★★★We were warmly greeted and seated promptly. Although this place serves Vietnamese (similar) dishes and a couple of American entrees (burger) the food was decent and we felt satiated. We had the lettuce 🥬 wraps, banh mi 🥪 sandwich (bread was not as soft as I’d expected, but had more crunch). The burger 🍔 was actually good and flavorful! Don’t have expectations in experiencing authentic Vietnamese entrees, as the owner is from Laos 🇱🇦 and although they have similar dishes to Vietnamese, not quite the same. The restaurant seemed a tad run down. Place could use a good wipe down cleaning.
Janis★★★★★You could tell everything was homemade and of good quality. There were four of us and we all had something different. Lettuce wraps, masseman curry, sloppy chicken and French dip.The owner cooks and serves. It seems to me that she does it all with love. You feel very welcomed. I will definitely be back.
N Towers★★★★★Cute, quaint and very delicious. My sister recommended this place for lunch. It was delicious. The owner was so sweet and attentive. The food was flavorful and very enjoyable. It did not take long to get our food and the smells of all the food coming were heavenly. I'll definitely be back!
MichaelCaro SpenceRobinson★★★★My wife and I love Asian food, so we tried Montauk Bistro. I had a curry dish and really enjoyed it. My wife ordered Pho and it was so disagreeable, that she left most of it in the bowl and didn't ask for a to-go container. We are both pho lovers and have had pho at more than a dozen restaurants in the Salt Lake Valley. Occasionally my wife has said that a restaurant's pho was just slightly off, didn't have enough "depth," or had too much or too little salt. This pho was in a class by itself. BAD. Sadly, if you love pho, don't go to Montauk Bistro. We both found the pho horrible to the point
