Melissa Braun★★★★★

We had a party of eight the next morning after a wedding. The food was amazing and my dad thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp and grits. The pancakes are very big and moist. However, my daughter had the grilled cheese and really did not care for it. The waitress was decent, but the hostess was spectacular!

Bonnie Alley★★★★★

Quick stop at Birdie's Bistro for an order to go and it did not disappoint. The food was fresh, flavorful, and just as good on the go. Fast, friendly service made it an easy stop.

Jerry Schaefer★★★★★

Birdies is a simple hole in the wall hidden gem of a restaurant. We were given a recommendation for breakfast from a local restaurant and they didn’t let us down. Both my wife’s and my breakfast were tasty and wonderful portions. Everyone is friendly, kind, polite and welcoming. We’re in town one more day and going back again. As I’m not from the area, I’ll say parking is 50/50. There are parking meters which I believe are free after 5 and some free parking at a side lot. We totally recommend eating here.

★★★★★ Birdies Bistro (Dubuque) We’ve eaten here several times, and it stays our top pick. It is the best breakfast in Dubuque. The room feels like a Midwest family diner. You walk in and feel welcome right away. The staff treats you like you belong there. A good share of the waitstaff is family, and it shows. This place runs on care and pride. It is a true family restaurant, run by a great family. Service stays quick, kind, and steady every visit. Prices stay fair for the portions and quality. The hollandaise sauce steals the show. It comes rich, smooth, and balanced. It lifts every plate
