El (shebreathes)★★Food is decent but can get the same thing somewhere else for way less. Could have ate out at a sit-down restaurant for my family of three at $63.22. $20 for a combo meal when the sandwich by itself is 10-12 means you pay $8-10 for a tiny fry and tinyyyyyy drink. What the heck is up with these prices? If I was not in a rush at the time would have just left.
Darren★★★★I tried the double smash burger and it was absolutely delicious… juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The seasoned fries were crispy and packed with flavor. I also got the banana pudding milkshake which was really good, but the highlight of our visit was the Dubai milkshake my wife ordered… absolutely outstanding! The food was fresh and warm, and the staff were friendly. The only downside was that the order pickup process wasn’t very organized. Our name was never called, and we only realized our bag was just sitting on the counter after a while, even as other orders were being called out.
A Watk★★BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! This is one of my favorite burger places in the Richmond area. However, this is the worst burger I’ve ever had at Shake Shack. I ordered the “French Onion Burger” the sandwich is more like a sloppy Joe than a burger. The bread and fried onions are extremely wet and soggy. This burger has to be completely reconstructed enable for me to eat it. Big waste of time and money! Won’t be ordering this again! By the way my name is not John.
Misha Mercury★★★★★My partner visited on 3/21/26 before the Gogol Bordello concert at The National. It was our first time at any Shake Shack. We were VERY impressed with the quality, taste, and price of the food. You simply cannot find a milkshake these days that doesn't taste like straight chemicals, that doesn't cost over $10, and the milkshakes here were perfect. We wanted to try the tiramisu shake but they were sold out. However, one of the employees (whose names I didn't get, sorry; she was a Black woman with glasses and who was very friendly) whom asked us how everything was told us that it was because the
