I want to specially thank the store manager for accommodating our group of 21 people. We placed an online order for our group of young dancers and moms for Starquest event since there was not an option to reserve the seat. What we really wanted was to dine in together but thinking by placing the order online would save us some time upon arrival. As we arrived and explained the situation the manager was able to accommodate us and took the time to transfer all the pizzas to plate from the togo boxes. Such a vibe! This place was such a nice experience. They put the pizza in the oven right in front of you! Everything was so fresh and very clean! I think if you want a fresh full of flavor pizza this is the place! They also have great variety of wines and beer!

Pizzeria Toro is a local favorite and has been loved by everyone in Durham for years. Their pizza is the absolute best. The Tuscan kale salad and ricotta dumplings are not to miss. And don't get me started on the zeppoles with hazelnut chocolate. But my favorite thing about Toro is honestly the warm, cozy vibe, and the extended hours (as most places are closed on Mondays or close early for dinner in Durham). The service is also outstanding. Everyone who works at Toro is so friendly.
