Old school joint close to airport. Gas up 2 blocks away return yr rental car full. Had a hard time choosing among various enticing options. Lobster ravioli not made in house so tried veal porcini marsala over angel hair. Starts with simple house salad with Italian dressing and basket warm bread. The dish was deeply earthy with pan fried veal and enough marsala to make it sing. Nice little find.

Unfairly affordable! This is our favorite restaurant in Boston. We came here on the trip we decided to move to Boston. We always have a good time. We always feel welcome. It’s not busy or loud. d’Parma is a reliable mid-level neighborhood place, and you should give them your business.

When we got there, the place was empty, which I loved because it felt cozier. The waitress super nice, and we started with an appetizer that was delicious. For the main dishes, we had the house risotto and carbonara. Honestly, from my experience, the carbonara wasn’t the original recipe but more of a variation. Since it’s an Italian restaurant, I expected it to be authentic, like the ones I’ve had in Verona. It was good, but I really miss the taste of something truly authentic.
