WOW. My first time at Little Madrid Tapas Café and I already can’t wait to come back! A huge thank you to Joaquin for making our experience so amazing. Since it was our first visit, he gave us some recommendations and let me tell you… he did NOT miss. The meatballs were phenomenal, the croquetas were a solid 10/10, but those bacon-wrapped dates? OMG. 🤯 They were hands down my favorite thing we tried. The combination of the crispy bacon, the sweet date, the almond, and the strawberry was a party of flavors in my mouth. Every bite just kept getting better! Everything we ordered was delicious

A visit to Little Madrid feels like stepping into a cozy corner of Spain right in the middle of Chicago. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, lively, and inviting—dim lighting, rustic wood tables, and the soft buzz of conversation that makes you want to slow down and savor the experience. The food is simply outstanding. Every dish feels thoughtful, authentic, and beautifully presented. The pan con tomate arrives with perfectly toasted bread brushed with olive oil and paired with a vibrant, fresh tomato sauce that’s bright, garlicky, and full of flavor. The staff are attentive

We loved everything about this place!!! Especially the paella. We tried the sangria and the Madrid on the Rocks drink, both were refreshing, and they truly made me feel like I was in Madrid.

We came in pretty much at opening on a Tuesday, so we had the restaurant to ourselves for a significant portion. We mostly ordered pintxos and shared a tapas (corte little Madrid), and each had a cocktail. Everything was so delicious and very well made, with just the right amount of pit stops from our server, Rotinda. Rotinda was super great and deserved every bit of his tip. He gave us a lovely shot of vermouth to sip on as we got ready to leave. We're very excited about keeping this place a spot to return to whenever we come back to Chicago and Andersonville. Very recommended!
