I have never been to an authentic Wisconsin fish fry until now. Friends of mine brought me here to experience not only my first, but the best. I ordered the Combination Plate of fried shrimp, scallops, perch, and cod. All was delicious. Their homemade Italian dressing is even great beyond salads for some GOOD bread dippin’. The interior is beautiful with a classic “supper club” appearance. Even better than the food and atmosphere is the wonderful staff that makes it worth coming to. Great food. Wonderful Friday night fish fry. Very friendly and efficient man at the host desk. True vintage atmosphere. Servers all run around and are all very unorganized. Our server only had one pen on her. I'm sorry but that's part of the uniform that is extremely unprofessional no matter how old you are. They are all older experienced servers so there was no exception for this. She hovered over our table waiting for us to sign and return her Pen. They do not do separate checks.. The bus boy was absolutely amazing. Everything was fabulous but the servers need to step it up.

They were busy so they put their efficiency ahead of us. They ignored our reservation as they would have had to give us a table for 4, made us wait 32 minutes. The French fries were undercooked. Fish pieces were cooked different amounts on the same plate. Wife's salmon Caesar salad was good.

Food was average but a decent value for cost. Service was average, but things like checking on drink refills were a bit slow. Atmosphere was like an open hall, nothing special and very old, but obviously in line with what the business target audience is.
