10/10 experience!!! Firstly, this was mine and my husbands first time coming here, it’s always been recommended and heard by numerous people how this was our closest thing to canes! Secondly, a huge round of applause to the front employee at the counter who’s named was Paul! He was incredibly sweet, gave us our time as we were incredibly indecisive on what we wanted and answered all our questions! He was great. Thirdly, The cooks in the back did their big ones! Dave’s Hot Chicken was a great place to stop for food and honestly from what I’ve had I think it’s the best chicken spot in Binghamton (though my knowledge of Binghamton chicken isn’t extensive). As a whole I believe the diner deserves a 4/5, the service was wonderful and the man at the counter was incredibly friendly. I ordered the Dave’s Numbers 1 and 2, splitting them between me and my son, and we both enjoyed the food! Good chicken but don't go here if you want your food to be ready within an hour of ordering. Don't know how it's acceptable to be quoted a 25 minutes for my pick-up order and then have to wait an additional 30 minutes inside for my food to be ready when there's hardly anyone waiting in the place and only 4 orders ahead of me also waiting for over 30 minutes. And only one person at the counter that has to handle serving food, take orders, box up to-go orders and handle pickup orders? Definitely a recipe for disaster.

Fast comfort food. Both of my kids love this place (ages 14 & 4). I finally tried the vegetarian loaded cali bite fries. It felt indulgent. Lots of flavor in the spices that can span mild to hot. The best part is that you can order ahead and pick up when it’s convenient.
