This place is amazing 👏. We ordered a variety of foods. The escondido roll, Chaplin roll, Cabo wabo, Adam Ali, Ya Jealous and killa kali. The service was great and attentive. They had deals for drinks 2 for $10 for alcoholic drinks 🍸. Definitely recommend and will be back.

Just not that good of sushi restaurant. Not much more to say. Rice had no flavor, mushy in the mouth. Had salmon on my Rainbow Roll tasted off. Kind of a Escondido inspired sushi/japanese menu and flavor. The menu does not state that they use imitation crab.

DO NOT COME HERE! I rarely leave Google reviews, but this experience deserved one. I went to Sushi Yama today after purchasing a Groupon for $65 worth of food for $30. When we sat down, the waitress immediately asked if we were using a Groupon, and I said yes. We ordered a few items from their advertised 50% off sushi roll section along with some regular-priced items. The sushi quality itself was honestly TERRIBLE— probably some of the worst sushi grade I’ve had in the area. Definitely not worth the premium pricing. Then the bill came, and it was much higher than expected. When I asked why,

Tala was able to accommodate our party of 12. The service was exceptional, and she was very attentive to our daughter’s allergies to shellfish. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was nice. Overall, it was a great place.
