I have gone to Gilson a few times, around 4 or 5 times although today was the best experience I have had here yet. We ordered the bossam and the half & half wings. The bossam was amazing and delicious as always today. The wings were super juicy and crispy and the sauces were good as well. What made our experience extra amazing today was our server, Jason. He has an authentic and genuine type of kindness that helped us feel extra welcomed today and we are super grateful to have had him serve us today. We ordered three dishes, and all of them exceeded our expectations in terms of taste. The only downside was that we didn’t receive the soybean stew that typically comes with the barbecue. Aside from that, everything was great. However, both the interior and exterior could use some updating - the space looks exactly the same as it did 12 years ago, which takes away from the overall vibe.
