How have I overlooked this delectable gem. The moment I walked in I smelled the southern home cooked comfort food. I was greeted by pleasant workers and a southern belle, who I assume was the owner. She reminded me of my granny, who enjoyed feeding everyone a delicious supper. I chose the fried pork loin (breaded like a chicken fried steak), green beans, mashed potatoes with cream gravy, and a tea. After being here over a year, I finally decided to stop by. BEST DECISION EVER!! Every one was so polite with great southern hospitality. They even took the time to go over the menu and explain the dishes to me. The owner was so kind, she even brought us a free serving of peach cobbler. Everything we ate was amazing but my favorite was the sweet potato casserole and the hoecake (hot water cornbread). The BBQ was very tender and my son loved the Mac and cheese. We will definitely be going here more often. This definitely made me think of my grandmother's food and was a great experience!!!

Recommend… 10/10 This location was much nicer than the other. I ordered the pork chops and they were oh so tender!!! Had collard greens, potato salad and Mac n cheese as an extra. Then the how cake was so good. The food was so good just needed a little more cheese in the Mac ;) As a foodie I can appreciate the sides that they have. Some places in the CSRA don’t have the regular sides…

Love this place. It's a family owned restaurant. When you first go in you order at the counter, then they bring your food to you. They have a very nice lady waitress. If you get the fish and shrimp it is cooked once you order. Very fresh. Plates are around $13 and comes with a meat, two veggies and a roll or bread. They also have dessert. Everything is made fresh. Country southern cooking. The restaurant is super clean and staff is friendly. This is in a nice area. Very safe.
