This Evansville gem has been cranking out great food and drinks for decades. Today was no exception. The staff here are still great and the food is delicious. Their Greek salad has been a staple and is still great. Tonight it was the garlic cheese bread and stroms, but I wish we could have tried the double decker pizza. One if the cooks let me watch her make one, and I will definitely give it a try soon. This place is easy to find using Google Maps and has plenty of free parking.

The atmosphere was cool - old time newspapers everywhere in a very cool old building. The service was slow and inattentive. We were seated in the bar next to the kitchen so we got to listen to the cook whine the entire time about the three pizzas he had to make. He kept claiming that he was getting slammed and belly ached to the server about how unfair it was. But the pizza itself was atrocious. Ate lunch on a Friday. Server was really good and kept our drinks full. I had the Greek salad that was fantastic as always. I also had the pork soulvakia. The flavor was great but the meat was a little dry and tough. The chicken version is better to me. I still recommend this place!! Visited again and did take out on the Hawaiian pizza. It is fantastic! Visited again for lunch and had the Greek salad with grilled chicken. Very good! Had the French dip today for lunch. It was great! Repeat customer for years now. Takeout, dine-in...good food, good service, good conversation. Pizza, sandwiches, cold drinks. Hands down best seating is on the patio. You get dinner and a show, you never know who's going to pass by (one time we saw a cat and groundhog hanging out then watched the groundhog cross Columbia St). I recommend.
