Shani Hillian★★★★★Risbo has been my go to restaurant since 2018! This place is a neighborhood gem and always will be. The space is divine, the is backyard is a plant oasis and one of the most beautiful in NYC hands down. They are open for lunch now which I am very happy about as I work from home and sometimes need a change of scenery to work. The Harvest Salad with their adaptogenic cacao latte is so good. Light, healthy and refreshing. I've been here for for brunch on weekends, dinner and private events and it is always a good time, great food, inclusive and consistent. A must try!
Jeffrey Sellers★★★★★Risbo is such a gem, I feel lucky I can walk here whenever I want. Been multiple times, tried both the chicken and lamb and various sides. Everything is so perfectly cooked and seasoned, the flavors are bold and interesting - somewhere between French and Carribean. Some of the best chicken I’ve had in NYC hands down. They also have this French cider here that is so funky and delicious, never seen it anywhere else and now crave it. Absolutely beautiful backyard to boot, don’t sleep on this spot if you are coming from the park and looking for a casual-ish place. You will not be disappointed!
Adam★★★Food incredible. Sauce game 10/10. Loved the roasted duck and seasonal veggies. Great pickled cabbage that added a lot of brightness and tang to round out the richness of the roasted meat. Cobbler unremarkable. Very very long line moving at a glacial pace next to the kitchen’s heat lamps. Cocktails served without ice on a hot day. Sticky tables that you self-buss, but no one was wiping them down in between settings so my napkin/elbows adhered to the table in a really unsettling way.
INES ZH★I asked for black tea, they brought tea with bergamot, the avocado toast was sprinkled with a very spicy seasoning, a lamb sandwich burned my mouth from sharpness. That was terrible service. They refused to change the dishes and did not return the money.
