I really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be coming back! The restaurant has a nice ambiance, perfect for a date or a group. It wasn’t busy when we visited, and the food came out fast, hot, and fresh. What we tried: - Akra (fried taro fritters): Crispy outside, chewy inside. Loved the Pikliz cabbage, but a dipping sauce would have been a nice touch. Ended up eating with ketchup. - Poulette en Sauce (chicken stew): Flavorful, and the bean rice was excellent. - Tassot Cabrit (fried goat): Pricey but amazing! Lots of meat and very few bones which is uncommon for goat dishes. I also upgrade

Had a great experience at VINGOUTE Restaurant. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and everything came out fresh and well prepared. One thing that really stood out was how clean the restaurant was. The tables, floor's and overall dining area were spotless and very well maintained. You can tell they take pride in keeping the place nice for their customers. Definitely a great spot to eat and I would come back again.

Ordered takeout for lunch - got the fried pork with the rice of the day (rice and beans), plantains, and the side of pickles. They were out of the oxtail so I’ll be back to try it. The fried pork was crispy and juicy, the spices on the rice and the beans were fantastic and the sauce on the side brought the dish together (wish there was more of it). The pickles were delicious and added some flavor to every bite. The only thing I didn’t like was the plantains - they were bland and a little dry like they’d been fried previously. But I will absolutely be back due to the flavors of the food and ki

We got the oxtail and the jerk chicken. Oxtail was fine but jerk chicken was unbearably salty?! I don’t think the kitchen tasted the food before it came out. I feel like if you are charging around 30 for entrees you cannot 1) give such a small meat portioning, 2) make it so salty that it is inedible. People working there seem really nice so it was incredibly disappointing and hard to write this review.
