What a treat. The waitress was so nice and once she knew I enjoy good spicy food she brought some fresh made in house salsa. It had some great heat and decent flavor for how much heat it had. She suggested the queso tacos which come with steak. However I asked if the happened to have lingua (which every real Mexican restaurant should have in my opinion) and they did and it was cooked very well soft and to the almost perfect texture. Oh wow, when I tell you that I am in love with this place. I've lived here for 3 years with my partner, so we've definitely run through multiple fast food offerings in our time here. We decided to give another local place a shot. We were searching for a nice replacement for Gray's Sandwich Shop's (RIP) burger and fries, and this surprised me! Great food, awesome service from the staff and the owner, and overall just a cute, warm environment. If their burger is that good, I imagine their entire menu is too, so they've made a fan today.

Bad day. Rice was dry and flavorless. Chips stale. Refried beans tasted like garlic. Red sauce might be the worse we've ever had! Ground beef flavor was "unique" and not in a good way. Hard pass on going back here.
