Michael Reavis★★★★★

This place ranks as one of the best breakfasts I have ever had! I had country ham, a biscuit and scrambled eggs. Eggs were perfect. The biscuit was epic. This place includes a molasses dispenser at each table so you can mix it up with some butter and have an old-time favorite. When you look up cat head biscuit this is what you would get

I moved to this area recently and wish I had taken the time to come here sooner. I knew there was a reason I regularly saw it was packed here with customers but was always on the way to work and never stopped by. One cold winter morning at 5AM I woke up early with the intention of going. Walked inside around 5:45 and there were already 7 or 8 people sitting and eating. I was greeted as a regular and told to pick my own spot. Southern charm was poured on as welcoming as the warmed syrup they brought for my pancakes with "honey" this or "sweetie" that or "darling". Welcoming compassionate adject

Great pancake - great flavor maple syrup and real butter. My breakfast- two eggs over medium-perfectly cooked, link sausage, grits, & coffee!! Great atmosphere, hearty laughter, everyone welcomed, wonderful staff, friendly & on top of service, checking my coffee and asking for additional needs, if you can't find your favorite breakfast here, then it might not be available anywhere!!

Unpopular opinion as a local but just not impressed. Out of the last 3 times I have been...one time wasn't worth remembering. Left one time without even eating...then today. Got their famous chicken sandwich....I asked what made it famous. Server couldn't answer but some lady from another table chimed in....she shouldn't have. Famous for what? Being overly salty? Thinner than a McChicken? Plus charged $3.04 one strip of over cooked bacon to be added to my sandwich. And the fresh fruit? Um....all should have been tossed out a few days ago... server was super nice though!
