Love the new location. First visit here and we enjoyed ourselves. We usually drive to San Antonio to visit Dave’s Hot Chicken from Austin every other week. We experience great service from Meech our cashier. He was very patient, polite, and just hospitable. The extra hot chicken had a very very good spice and kick to it. Some location are different. Extra hot is not hot. But this location did great.

Our first visit was not great. We got hot as we like spicy food. The hot flavor is spicy and harsh, like eating lava. Anyway, we went back months later and got Medium. It was good. No side effects hours later. The fries are good too. However, no root beer in the machine???

Review: Dave’s Hot Chicken – Georgetown Dave’s Hot Chicken recently opened a new location in Georgetown, and we decided to give it a try. We went through the drive-thru around 9 PM, expecting a quick experience, but the wait ended up being about 40 minutes. It seems they’re still working through the initial rush that often comes with a new opening. The staff, however, were very friendly and professional. Even though it was busy, they handled everything with patience and made sure customers felt taken care of, which helped make the wait a little easier. We ordered the mini sliders and a tender.

Been a Dave's fan for years, was happy to see one closer to home. Usually a great experience, this time just seemed a lil off. We arrived just 10 minutes after opening on a Sunday (11/16/2025) and were the third in line. Our food took just under 20 minutes to get, just a sandwich and a couple tenders. Even a guy from drive through came in to see if could get his food faster. Normally would be fine, but the chicken nor the fries were hot like they had just came out of the fryer.
