The Brickyard Tavern is located on the first floor of the Historic Boardwalk Condominiums building. There is metered parking on the street in front of the building. Otherwise, you would have to park in one of the local lots. The atmosphere is pretty cool. Being inside a historic building it has brick walls and solid wood beams. There is a bar area with seating for about 12 – 15. The dining area has a good mix of both high-top tables and low-top tables. There is a pretty cool outdoor dining area that sits in the courtyard of the building with condo balconies overlooking the area. It was a litt

Im a big fan of fish and chips, this place had the best fish and chips I've ever had in my life. Fluffy, crispy delicious pieces not to mention the fries were delicious. My boyfriend got a BBQ burger, best burger he said hes ever had in his life. Top ten burgers he said. Waitress slacked despite us being the only people inside on a Sunday afternoon but the quality of the food more than made up for it. Absolutely amazing, please visit them!!

We came here on a whim before a concert and it was not too busy. The menu is fairly simple, and it's great to see a few vegan options. The burger was great, and the fries were fantastic. We also enjoyed some happy hour appetizers like cheese curds. Will for sure come back if we go to another concert in the area.

Legitimately the Commodus is the best vegan sandwich I've ever had. From Detroit, sad it isn't closer. The bar tender was attentive, the beer was cheap, and I had to double check if this was vegan. Honestly really good.
