This restaurant has been un business for a very long time and serves fresh classic Chinese dishes that they will happily modify to your liking. Service is prompt and polite. The atmosphere is light and airy with a large kitchen window where you can watch the cooks prepare your food. All meals include a pot of hot Jasmine tea, which is soothing and delicious! I recommend it for in-house dining or takeout - both are excellent.

Once in a while, we love to order from Szechuan Open Kitchen. Our favorites are the Sashimi Beef and General Tso's Chicken, and they’re always as good as we remember, with the same great flavors. The service and atmosphere are okay, but the food keeps us coming back!

The egg flower soup was barely warm. The spring rolls an orange chicken were okay. But the Kung Pao chicken. The Kung Pao chicken was the worst thing I've eaten in a very long time. It did not contain a single vegetable and consisted mostly of deep-fried breaded meat that apparently was chicken. It tasted mostly like burnt grease, the sauce was like a sweet gravy. The hot tea and the fortune cookie was the only enjoyable part.
