We used Eli's On Whitney to celebrate my dad’s passing instead of doing a traditional funeral, and this was 100% the right choice. We rented the downstairs space, which comfortably held around 50–80 people and gave us room to make it feel personal... memory tables, photos, all of it. They were very easy to work with from the beginning and let us have a lot of control over how everything looked and felt, which mattered a lot for something like this. We went over all the food options ahead of time and everything was clearly laid out and communicated (timing, setup, etc.), which made the day it

Stopped by Eli’s on Whitney on Saturday with my family in between basketball games, looking for a quick but satisfying lunch, and it definitely delivered. We started with the buffalo wings and the pulled pork nachos. The nachos were fantastic and honestly the highlight of the meal. The cheese sauce was really good, and what stood out most was how well they were layered. Every single chip had something on it, which is not always the case with nachos, and it made a big difference. We had such a great time here! Laura is AWESOME! Thank you to her and the rest of the staff for taking our birthday bash to the next level. Fantastic food, delicious drinks, prompt service, and genuinely nice people all around. I felt comfortable the second I walked through the door. I’m sorry I didn’t catch the hostess’s name, but she was so welcoming. You guys are amazing! We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the New Haven area! Huge compliments to the chefs because the food was incredible. Those Philly egg rolls... OMG. SO GOOD!!! ❤️

I walked in and requested a table as a party of 1. I ordered crab cakes and chicken parm. The crab cakes were well seasoned. I enjoyed the fried capers, but there were not many; maybe 4 or 5. The greens on the side were extremely dry - maybe they're intended as decoration? If not, they should be lightly dressed or else it's just a waste of produce. The chicken parm was not very crispy. The linguine was overcooked. As I was eating my main, there was a party at the front door whom the bartender looked at while picking up a closed receipt off the bar, but they did not acknowledge the party in any
