Nice story and cute place but baklava was terrible. Dry like a rusk inside. I thought there was a cookie layer but it was just dry phyllo. Apparently the syrup was not absorbed by the phyllo. Cold/room temperature Syrup should be added to fresh/hot baklava. In the display it appeared to have so much syrup but I think they added it to cold baklava. It just swims in it, never absorbs.

....so I saw the Instagram video and came....and this did not disappoint! I was so shocked to taste absolutely fresh and crispy phyllo that melts in your mouth. I got the Spanakopita, and it was stuffed with a delicious spinach and feta filling. Also tried the Afalli, and it was stuffed with toasted pistachios. Both were delectable and I would highly recommend anyone to go! Multiple vegetarian savory pies as well.

The baklava here is absolutely delicious. The work they put into keeping this craft alive definitely doesn’t go unnoticed. 10/10 I will make this a must-stop location anytime I’m in the city. Plus the gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and descriptive.

GREEK HERE 🇬🇷 this is an honest review: I am greek, born and raised in Greece. I tried this place based off recommendations, but the baklava and spanakopita does not resemble the greek one at all. They are flavourless in my opinion & a bit dry. Also very very expensive! The owner is a sweetheart, and the service is amazing, but nothing like the greek baklavas unfortunately.
