Just arriving in the parking lot I got a strong sense of nostalgia. This McDonalds wasn’t upgraded to the modern versions we see popping up. It was like walking into a Time Machine and I honestly got emotional. That family feel was there. They still had booths and intimate seating like the old days and even the infamous Ronald McDonald Playground. I saw families spending time together and I loved every minute of it. I like this place because it's a traditional McDonald's that I remember as a kid. Still has the play area! The manager on duty was very nice and accomodated me. I bought 4 happy meals for my kids (including me :-). I liked this Hicksville McDonald's way more Compared to the Plainview McDonald's. It might look nicer inside at the Plainview one, but staff there are not nice. I'm coming to this one all the time now. Thank you all today for giving me a great experience.

The food is better then most McDonald’s but is not the best I have seen. The service is occasionally sluggish but usually it is excellent. The atmosphere is perfect do to the building having a design that is far better then modern McDonald’s. I think that new McDonald’s have no soul but this location has a kind of warm and inviting atmosphere that I love! Overall 5 stars especially because of the interior . I was surprised to see the red roof because I thought they were all gone but thankfully this place survived!

Marilyn was amazing!!!! She is the sweetest and actually took my order correctly even tho I was asking for a lot of specifics she did it all correct! All smiles, very sweet, she definitely deserves a raise or at least some kind of Recognition! I will be coming back only for her. I’ve typically had issues in the past with different employees, but I am extremely satisfied meeting her today and having a great experience, especially living right around the block from this McDonald’s I always come here so I will make sure to seek for her to place my order!! Love it!
