I really hate having to write this review about a Black-owned business because I genuinely wanted this experience to be a positive one. I researched several restaurants for my cousin's 60th birthday celebration, and I was the one who suggested Ruby Lee's. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from beginning to end. We arrived around 6:30 PM and were given glasses of water. After that, no one came back to our table to take our order for approximately 45 minutes. Need to convert to simply a jazz bar. Though they apparently have been there for some time, not working as a restaurant. Food was entirely mediocre. My “stuffed” salmon was not stuffed with anything. Apparently the waiter did not hear even though I asked specifically what was the stuffing. When you go to a restaurant on vacation you hope to have something you cant and dont get at home and something better. None of this was.

We went to Ruby Lee’s tonight on a recommendation from a neighbor . This was by far one of the best nights out! The staff, Tom ( owner) , food and entrainment was so amazing! We had a fabulous dinner, great wine and left hugging people who just want to embrace joy and happiness! Tim sets the tone with his interaction with his customers and staff . We highly recommend you check out Ruby Lee’s ! Oh, side note my husband got to sit in with the band ( he is a drummer) and was on cloud nine! Thank yoh yo the staff of Ruby Lee’s ! World feels more hopeful when you visit a place like this!!

Shareea is the best hostess/ bartender Her recommendation was bomb dot com.. Ruby wings spicy with ruby wing with lemon pep p er sprinkle lemon pepper..drinks fie..blue motorcycle sftong island and a woowoo Let not forget the double cut pork chop with Mac and greens and crab balls.. Woo choow...in jilton head till the 19 will be back
