Cafe Madrid was first located in the Black Diamond Center on 3900 South, in 2003. Then, Gabrielle and Todd McAfee built the current Cafe Madrid, from the ground up, on Highland Drive in 2011. Proudly run as a family owned and operated restaurant, Andrea Mier, daughter of Gabrielle McAfee, currently manages the restaurant with the community of Cafe Madrid at heart.

Every other place is ruined for me now. The food and the service the atmosphere…I am transported to Spain or just heaven, I haven’t decided. My advice? Get the garlic butter salmon with tortilla appetizer and the mousse de chocolate for dessert. You’ll never be the same.

First time here and food was exceptional. Our waitress was Kendal and was very attentive same with the other waiters were all so kind. Would definitely come again! We had a great experience at this Spanish restaurant. We ordered a variety of dishes. The food was fresh and full of flavor. The attention to detail is great here. The bread was especially good - crispy on the outside and soft inside. We also had a charcuterie board with cheese, meats, walnuts and fresh grapes, which was a great starter. We tried the Spanish tortilla, both salads, Spanish meat lasagna, Lamb shank, the salmon and the shrimp wrapped in bacon with cheese sauce.
