We read about all the awards this restaurant has received, and had to try it out. It is not a fancy Mexican-style restaurant inside, but the food was fantastic. They also have a large outside covered deck with misters. The chips were good although served cold, and the salsa was very spicy but also delicious. I had the machaca con huevo, a large serving with lots of onions and peppers with a great flavor. Our server did a great job and checked on us often. It can be noisy with traffic sitting on the deck, but still enjoyable.

On our way back to Palm Springs, wanted to take the scenic route. So glad we stopped! Was going to ordered the sampler but saw the Shrimp stuffed peppers and they were AMAZING! First time in California going to make this a stop on our next trip!

My wife and I are on vacation. We had lunch today and the food was outstanding. We met the owner and she was exceptional in sharing with us regarding their food. The shrimp cocktail was the best. This is a must go place to eat. We will be going back before our vacation is over.

Stumbled across this GEM while visiting Indio. The food is authentic and GOOD! The staff are extremely friendly. We had the seafood sampler platter and the menudo.. omg the ceviche stole my heart! We will be back when we visit!!
