Kevin G★★★★★Amazing creole food in Jersey. Service was friendly and chill. I was visiting my friend in Jersey and we ended up at this spot. I had jambalaya which is a good portion and very tasty. For dessert we had banana cornbread and beignets. Both were absolutely fresh and delicious. Will definitely go back to try other dishes.
Jeffrey Schoenfeld★★★★★Wow. Stopped in after spending the day at Liberty State Park. Sooooo Glad we did. Started with a Lime mocktail I asked not to Make it sweet and it was PERFECT! I ordered the Shrimp etouffee which was probably the best etouffee that I’ve had. Bursting with delicate flavor. I ordered the grits instead of rice and they were fantastic. My girlfriend ordered the seafood gumbo and also loved it. She is a very light eater but devoured this dish!!! For dessert we shared a bread pudding with pecan sauce. OMG another winner. Sweet yet not too sweet. Even though it’s almost an hour travel ti
Josephine Lee★★★★Cute, casual neighborhood spot with all the Cajun classics one could ask for. We shared the Crawfish Calas, which were tasty but could've used more crawfish. The Shrimp Etouffee was pretty good, but the giant bowl of Jambalaya was the real crowd pleaser--it was chock full of Andouille sausage, chicken and shrimp, with a portion size that would've made any momma proud. Round it out with a generous helping of turkey bacon-drenched collard greens, and you've got yourself a pretty soulful dinner.
Marissa Bowles★★★★★Very cool, cozy spot that is located in JC that has a nice ambience to it. My partner and I stopped by for brunch and the shrimp po boy was the highlight of our meal. It was seasoned well and had pretty good portion size for the price. The staff is super friendly and patient. The cornbread was a little underwhelming compared to everything else but would definitely recommend and go again since it highlights some Louisiana flavors and energy throughout the restaurant.
