Ting Chen★★★★★Love the food, environment and service. Excellent value for your money. I really enjoyed stewed pork? It was flavorful and succulent. It paired real well with the potatoes and beans and peas and all the sides. The peanut butter pie was excellent! Usually it’s way too dense but it was fluffy here. The waitress was extremely attentive and on top of it. Highly recommend.
Franklin Kelley★★★★★Anyone who gives this place less than 5 starts needs whooped. All jokes aside, the food here is great and the staff are all so sweet and attentive. This will take you back to a meal at your grandmothers house and they get it done right every time. I’ve never had a bad meal, and I’ve never left hungry. Definitely a downtown staple and I hope it’s around for a very long time! P.S. if they are serving peach cobbler you better get a bowl.
April★★★I never thought I would be disappointed with chefs in. Usually I always dine in and set in Marsha's section, because she's wonderful. But today I ordered 2 to go plates. They have you circle on entree, 2 sides, what type of bread, 1 dessert and then you write what you want to drink. Then you get charged the same price as dine in price, which I might understand if I was able to make my own plate and put whatever I wanted on my plate, being that it is a Buffett. But I just shook that off and went and set in a chair up front, while the cashier go to take the slips of paper to the kitchen. Well, I
Jackie Dotson★★★★Ate at this buffet for lunch and it was very good. They apparently have an ongoing menu each day they serve and on this day it was pork chops, chicken fried steak, rotisserie chicken, and a few other entrees. Everything I had including the sides, was good down south cooking. The strawberry shortcake for dessert was also great. It was crowded and the area was warm but I think that's a testament to how good it was. Would recommend!
