Mention the name Sheik's to any local resident, and you'll more than likely see their face turn into a look of shock, a bit of disgust, and maybe even followed up with a chuckle. ATMOSPHERE: The best way to describe this place to a "t" is simply to say it's like a truck stop diner but minus the big rigs and waitresses that call you "honey" and "sweetie." Yesterday we had Breakfast there, was known for being a great breakfast place in the past. Service was super slow, hardly any customers maybe had like 11 people sitting total.food took forever to come out 30 min to be exact. Super sloppy and small portions. Pancake seemed like it was drenched in oil. Pancake fell brittle well picking it up with my fork. Burger could fit in the palm of my hand? Mac Donalds mc double is even bigger?fried noodles was super oily? Also very little noodles.really rating is under a 1? Spent 40 dollars for slob!! Sadly will never re visit there again.

Best "local" spot on the island. They've been here over 60yrs. That tells you something. And when you come for breakfast, look for Edna, she's the best! She won't let your coffee cup go dry. And if Megan makes her special cookies you gotta get them. Her cookies are killuh!

Friday night = date night… and we went back to a childhood favorite 💛 Was already a little bummed they were out of the Hawaiian plate (the whole reason we went 😅), so I switched it up and ordered the roast pork… and yeah… not the move. Dry, overcooked, underseasoned — tasted like it had been hanging out since Wednesday. Saving grace?
