The restaurant is located in the Kensington section of Brooklyn. They prepare Indian cuisine. Several tables are available for dining in with servers. Soups, salads, appetizers, wraps, entrees, sides, desserts and beverages are on the menu. I ordered a vegetable soup, vegetable samosa appetizer, hakka noodles, gobi manchurian and vegetable biryani. The food was very good and tasty. Nice well-priced dishes. Friendly and helpful staff.

My buddy and I stopped by for dinner last night. He's a vegetarian, so we picked this place because of the abundant vegetarian options. Seriously, there's a looot of options here for vegetarians! The food is relatively cheap too, it's good value for the price. We got the masala dosa (with gunpowder) to split, and for myself I got an order of garlic naan, and the paneer jalfrezi. I will say, we seriously underestimated the size of the dosa! This thing was MASSIVE. Like, it literally was the length of the table 😭. Granted most of it was the thin, crispy shell but still. That being said though,

COCKROACH alert!! I ordered on doordash their paneer sabzi, the paneer was stale (it was half white half gray), so I got a refund. Since I liked the taste, I ordered samosa chaat and IT HAD A COCKROACH in it. Photos attached. This restaurant should shut down. It does not meet any safety standards.

We used to be Jalsa regulars. We moved several years ago and I really missed their food. Was in the neighborhood recently and ordered all my old favorites. One bite and the memories of delicious food came flooding back. Their food is amazing. And for the carnivores out there, dont skip on the vegetarian dishes. As a meat lover, I can't get enough of the veggie dishes. They're simply amazing! Hope to be back sooner this time around.
