Golden Papaya★★★★★Cute little bakery! They did a wonderful job on my daughter's cake. Ordering was very simple. You pay in advance. You can buy things like candles, small floral arrangements, variety of pastries and cakes. They also make coffee and have a little seating area.
Master Maggie Li★★★★★Update *May 2026* - new hours: open on Sundays until 4:30PM My favorite bakery in Kent - I've enjoyed pretty much everything I've tried. My go-to are cheesecake (so creamy and velvety), cupcakes (Earl Grey and Maple), and cookies (peanut butter and chocolate chip). The owner and staff are all super friendly. They now offer Afternoon Tea on the weekend, which is a great way to spend time with friends and family. Street parking available right in front of the store, but also in the parking lot behind.
Claire Drawe★★★Empty on a weekend didn't inspire confidence. I like that all teas can be made in latte form and the in store service pieces are cute. But the key lime bar was just okay and couldn't be cut with the fork and knife that they have for patrons. Place is cute and they probably make lost of their income though the Sunday teas ($50 pp) but for a weekend visit without splurging I don't think it's worth it
