Stumbled into Rams Head Southernmost tucked back in Bahama Village and it turned into one of the better meals of the trip. The setup is that laid-back Key West tropical thing done right, shady outdoor seating, live music going, and the vibe just makes you slow down. We hit the Bloody Mary bar which is worth the trip on its own, and the food held up: fresh, generous, and the frozen drinks were dangerously easy to keep ordering in that heat. Service was friendly without hovering. If you want the real local Key West feel instead of the Duval Street tourist crush, walk the extra couple blocks for

Great atmosphere and just off the chaos of Duval St.. Beautiful seating area under shady trees and palms and tables come equipped with squirt bottles for the roosters !! The food was great. Pickle chips were amazing. Fish and chips great. Cuban sandwich was very very good and the blackened mahi tacos were scrumptious. I loved the coleslaw though it is on the sweeter side. Great live music too.

Next time we come back to Key West, Rams Head is on our list of favorites to visit. Great tropical outdoor dining, relaxing live music, great service (many thanks to our server Lexi) and incredible food. Best brussel sprouts I've ever had. Cooked with a bourbon blue cheese cream sauce and fresh cooked bacon mixed in. Then we had the most awesome lobster mac'n'cheese. A large bowl of cavatappi pasta with a delicious creamy cheese sauce and plenty of large morsels of Caribbean lobster tail. The airplane parts decor add to the tropical garden motif. A partial wing with propeller ceiling fan over

Had lunch and took advantage of the build your own bloody mary station. The service was great. The atmosphere is the keys. What more could you ask for.... A cuban sandwich was delicious!
