Lovely establishment with a sweet owner. Felt like we were treated like family. We went in for coffee and dessert and ended up eating an amazing lunch that started with a complimentary warm bean appetizer. I could have eaten that as my lunch. Food was fresh and amazingly flavorful. Presentation was colorful and balanced. You must have the Turkish coffee. For our group it was presented on a tray with pretty demitasse cups. Came to Bibi Kirkland with my family and had such a great experience. We ordered a big mixed kebab platter with beef tenderloin kebab, ground beef and chicken, rice, and grilled vegetables, and everything was delicious. The beef kebab was especially juicy, soft, and full of flavor. We also tried the hummus, baba ghanoush, spicy prawns, and falafel plate , all of the appetizers were amazing. After dinner we ordered Turkish coffee, and they brought it with chocolate cake which was such a nice touch. The service was very warm and attentive, and everyone was so welcoming to our family. Nice and quiet atmosphere. However, service was ok. The food took a bit of time to come out (when there were only 3 tables there). The server refused to clean the sticky table and never checked on us once. The taste was good, but the meat portion was small (4 shrimps for the shrimp bowl).

I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and had the best healthy lunch. This is my favorite spot for Persian food because you can always tell everything is fresh and tastes homemade! The service is quick, the staff is friendly, and they're also super helpful if you've never tried authentic Persian food.
