California burrito and carne asada fries used to be really good but in the past few months quality has gone way down. Fries used to be crispy and delicious and now they're soft and bland, and now there are more of them.

This is maybe the best Mexican food in La Mesa/ east county. I live really close by and have never had a bad experience here. It’s convenient and fast and the food is extremely high quality for the price. The chefs in that kitchen work so hard, and so does the front counter staff. They’re always pleasant on the phone when I call. I absolutely love this place and have made it a weekly treat for myself and my husband. It’s my go-to for when I can’t decide what to eat and it never fails to satisfy. I would give more stars if I could. Love love love <3
