Wynn★★★★Friendly folks serving good food here. There's outdoor seating available on a covered patio, which is nice when the weather is ideal. The brisket here is fine. It has nice smoke ring but the bark could be better. It tastes a little underseasoned, as a giant brisket is usually difficult to overseasoned. The sides are fine, nothing particularly standing out. The fried boudin balls though, are unreal. Perfectly seasoned and fried boudin balls with a nice crunchy exterior. It's worth coming here just for the boudin balls. The sausage rolls/meat pies is also quite good. Overall, a good experience.
Joanna Christine Koll★★★★★Omg! What can I say, I cleaned my plate, which I rarely do! It was sooo good! I had the brisket and my husband had the Smoked BBQ pork steak. So tender and juicy, full of flavor. Even the sides of corn Maque Choux, baked beans and dirty rice were great! Great portions good price, you won't regret it!
gus★★★★Great little BBQ joint near just a few minutes drive off the highway. Service is very friendly and the selection of BBQ cuts and sides is just what you need for a nice lunch or takeaway. - Value for money? Yes - Worth a detour? A short one - Best for (occasion)? Roadside BBQ when on a trip - Would I go back? Yes
Celina Michel★★★★★Johnson’s does BBQ right! This has become one of my go to spots for boudin, and the Parrain Special is always a must for me. The location near the Cathedral and the wraparound porch make it such a great place to sit back and enjoy a meal. Easily earned a spot on my local Acadiana foodie guide!
