The food was disappointing overall. The barbecue pork was very dry, the chow mein lacked flavor, and while the orange chicken was crispy, it didn’t deliver the satisfying quality I expect from takeout Chinese food. The staff was friendly and communicated well, which I appreciated. However, the pricing is unreasonable. Charging $22 for a basic combo plate feels like price gouging. I understand that Lake Forest has a higher cost of living and that many residents earn reasonable wages as a result, but that does not make it reasonable to charge such inflated prices for a very standard takeout mea
