A Texas classic and this location holds it down. The donuts and kolaches are fresh, hot, and consistently good — the kolaches especially are a must for weekday regulars. The donut holes are fantastic and the glazed are exactly what you'd expect from Shipley. Open as early as 4:30AM which is perfect for an early morning run. Drive-thru can get a little tight during peak hours so go early or after 9AM for a smoother experience. Coffee is a little pricey for a donut shop but the pastries more than make up for it. 🍩☕🤠

May 17, 2026 - SHIPLEY is a dump. Kolachie, trash. Old fashioned doughnuts, trash. Fruit filled pastries, trash. This is no longer a League City Staple. I have never been given more disgusting doughnuts my whole life.

Never enter the shop after 2 PM. That was the feeling I got when I went into this store for the very first time yesterday. "You're annoying" was the message, and it wasn't easy to get any product information. Wow! Unfortunately, the fact that the pastries were actually very good was completely overshadowed by this experience.
