They give you small portions on the mashed potatoes and lots of gravy. When the employees aren't busy, they stand there talking rather than cleaning the dirty tables and dead flies on the window seal.

This was our go-to place for dinner, but it has gone downhill because, in my opinion, a change in packaging. Now food is in a one compartment container whereas it used to be a 3 compartment container. Now, if you order spicey, your fries and roll will also be spicy and the roll will be gummy thanks to be in the same compartment with the other food. Is it really saving that much money to change the containers? Time to find another go-to.

For me, Golden Chick is the most under the radar fast food out there. Great veggies and sides, chicken is always perfect, prices are good. Very consistent from store to store as well. Love this place!

Love Golden Chick. When every I'm that way in Leander I have to stop and grab a bite to eat. The staff is friendly and it's always clean. The food is always hot and ready to go...inside or drive-thru. Inside is better cuz you get a free vanilla cone once you're done eating. The rolls...so fresh, hot and soft...they can go good with your Thanksgiving meal.
