Special thanks to Catty Corner Cafe for making an otherwise difficult day, better. One of our Apprentices on the spectrum ordinarily works at a nearby elementary school. Today, however, a Lockdown Drill unexpectedly gave him a bit of anxiety. After the drill was over, he was afraid to return to work at the library or gym (his normal stations). I had a fantastic experience at the cat cafe and can't wait to return! The young girl Beau who helped us was wonderful, super friendly and attentive. The cats were calm and relaxed, which made the atmosphere even better. The drinks and cookies were delicious, and I appreciated that they weren't too strict about the rules. Catty Corner Cafe is such a beautiful little corner café. From the moment we walked in, the space felt warm, cozy, and incredibly inviting the kind of place where you can truly relax and enjoy the moment. The young lady is very helpful and knowledgeable so make sure to ask questions about adopting. There were so many sweet cats, and my kids and I were able to interact with all of them.
